Cycling trips round the Oosterschelde and Neeltje Jans
With this 56 km round trip around Oosterschelde National Park, you are guaranteed a fantastic day! The Oosterschelde National Park is the largest and the most humid park in the Netherlands. Due to the different ecosystems, you will encounter different plants and animals along the way. You can also visit the fish farm at Neeltje Jans, which supplies top-quality mussels. The ideal place to taste Zeeland's delicacy.

You start from node 39, on Noord-Beveland. You will cycle along the water in the direction of the Oosterscheldekering. Halfway through this trip across the water, you can take a break at Deltapark Neeltje Jans, where there is plenty to do! Besides the delicious fish you can taste, a visit to Deltapark Neeltje Jans highly recommended.

After this stop you continue your trip, across sandbar the Roggeplaat, towards the mainland. Turn right and continue cycling alongside the Oosterschelde. You will pass watchtower "de Plompe Toren" where you can enjoy the view of the beautiful surroundings. Finally, you will cycle back to the other side of the Oosterschelde via the Zeelandbrug to the point where you started this cycle tour; Parc Ganuenta. Click here for the cycling route.

Cycling alongside the Oosterschelde and the Veerse Meer
With the construction of the Delta Works, you can cycle around the Veerse Meer all year round. Challenge the wind on the dam or catch the ferry to the other side.

The cycle route goes alongside the water and on the way you will see several sailboats and surfers sailing across the water. In the historical town of Veere, the streets and houses recall the past and you will find plenty of lovely places, including cosy restaurants and terraces.

In summer, you can use two tourist ferry services: between Veere and Kamperland and between Kortgene and Wolphaartsdijk. Click here for the cycle node route.
