Sea Pool "Speelstrand Orisant"
The sea pool was built in the fifties to teach children from the village of Colijnsplaat to swim. In 1997, Camping Orisant had everything dredged out and the new concrete wall built to stop the sea water during low tide and allow the children to swim without current again.
In early 2023, new play equipment was installed to turn “Strand Orisant” into “Speelstrand Orisant”.
Meanwhile, the sea pool has become the ideal place for children + adults to fish for crabs and is a beautiful place to take photos during high tide.
Enjoy the view and the sea, swim in the water and lie in the sand. Just be careful of the oysters and sunburn.
The sea pool is for children, your pets should swim on the outside of the dam or dyke.
